Make & Take Math Games

We will focus on one math concept each day, explore the concept, study related math vocabulary and then construct and play games. Leave each day with a math game to use at home. Emphasis will be placed on number sense and Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards in Mathematics.

My name is Michael Smith and I have been a public school teacher for the past 18 years and currently teach with Edina Public Schools. I am a Licensed K-6 Minnesota teacher and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Augsburg College in Minneapolis and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University in Saint Paul. My family and I live in Maple Plain and my two children attend Orono schools.
