Let your imagination flow, and join us to create and self-publish your very own zine with Kari from the Vintage Storyteller. “Zine”, after the word magazine, is a combination of writing and art. In this class, you will produce your own zine on the topic of your choice. This printed form of expression helps to bring your brainstorming and ideas to life. The class will focus on the zine making process which includes: idea formulation, execution and creation, and sharing of your handmade work of art. All supplies are included in the class fee.

Kari Ramstrom

Kari is the owner, operator and curator of the indie bookstore and curio shop The Vintage Storyteller. She worked in public and school libraries for several decades in the west metro of the twin cities. She has journaled extensively throughout her life and self-published several non-fiction books. She created the store as a creative haven bookshop, art supplier and community space to motivate, inspire and support others to get their story told.
