    Bring your rain boots and curiosity as we explore the lakefront and its marshy edges. Here we will discover the dozens of species of small water creatures called macro invertebrates. We will catch some tadpoles and find the nesting areas of migratory birds such as the Baltimore Oriole and the Smaller American Redstart. As we work near the water’s edge, the osprey and bald eagle as well as the trumpeter swan family will keep us entertained. This habitat is loaded with many species of mammals, birds, insects and amphibians.
