Intro to Trout Fishing - Live on the Stream

Adult Enrichment / Special Interest & Hobbies -
Winter/Spring 2026

This 5-hour, in-person class is your fast track to becoming a confident fly angler. Join Master Guide, Scott in western Wisconsin as you learn the essentials of fly fishing. The first hour will cover: gear, rigging, knots, and the best flies for our local waters. Then, you'll hit the dry ground for a focused fly casting lesson. Finally, you'll suit up in waders and boots to fish for wild trout on one of Western Wisconsin's rivers, the Kinnickinnic or the Rush. All necessary fishing gear (rods, reels, flies, waders, boots, etc.) is provided. Participants are required to bring a one-day, Wisconsin fishing license with an inland trout stamp. The instructor will share the specific class location the week of class for optimal fishing conditions. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind class opportunity!
