  • Boys and Girls Table Tennis Club

    Grades 9-12 (Boys and Girls)Come join the Orono Table Tennis team! Matches will be scheduled with other high school clubs. A detailed schedule will be provided by the coach. The state tournament is scheduled for mid-February 2018. If 7th and 8th grade students wish to join the team, they must tryout.  Please contact Kim at kking@orono.k12.mn.us if you need tryout information.
  • Orono Youth Wrestling

    This program is designed to help young wrestlers learn fundamental wrestling skills while having fun. All experience levels are welcome. The Orono Wrestling Club gives young athletes the opportunity to learn this classic sport while gaining the benefits of competition: Build self-confidence Develop advanced motor skills and coordination Learn about individual as well as team sport skills Learn how to "Win with Class" and "Lose with Dignity" New to wrestling? There is a pre-season trial period.Students grades K - 6 can come to free trial days to see what it's all about!Mondays, November 13, 20, 27 at the Orono Middle School - Gym BGrades K - 2 will learn the basic elements of successful wrestling skills.Grades 3 - 6 will get the opportunity to perfect the uniqueness of their ability to wrestle with enhanced skills in competition. In addition to the listed schedule, there will be weekend tournaments as scheduled.Wrestling CompetitionsYour student athlete has the opportunity to compete in individual and/or team competitions.  They will compete against their own age, size and weight. Tournaments are on Saturday mornings around the area.  Tournaments are open to all experience levels.  Experienced wrestlers will also get a chance to compete in dual meets.     Learn the basics of skateboarding or more advanced individuals can take their skating to the next level. Our professional instructors share their love of the sport in a fun and supportive environment designed to foster confidence and build skills. We provide any equipment and pads you may need, free of charge.
