30 total hours of classroom driver's training required by the State of Minnesota.
Green Ball Tennis is for players who are continuing to acquire skills and are ready to play on a full-length court. Players will be refining technique and fundamentals that allow them to rally. Games will involve situational point play to develop strategies for both singles and doubles. Players will be able to score, serve and compete.
Tennis racket required. Coach Turunen recommends a 25,” 26” or introductory 27” racket.

Coach Bryan Turunen brings over 25 years of tennis experience as a USPTA Certified tennis director, coach, and instructor. Since graduating from the University of MN, he has served the local tennis community in roles such as: Director of Tennis at Wayzata Country Club, Bearpath Country Club and Golden Valley Country Club, Head Varsity Tennis Coach at Providence Academy, Volunteer Assistant Tennis Coach at Macalester College, and Tennis Professional with Life Time Fitness. He enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities to help achieve their tennis potential. When not on the court teaching, he’s probably on the court playing with his two sons (14 & 13) and daughter (11).
