30 total hours of classroom driver's training required by the State of Minnesota.
Stained Glass Open Studio provides time and space to work on your projects whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced worker. A facilitator is available for advice and support. Purchase an 8-session punch card and receive an area to store supplies, tools and your projects. Punch cards are valid for 12 months. Students can group order glass and supplies to save time and money.

Cindy is the Stained Glass Instructor for Orono Community Education and Wayzata Community Education. In 2003 the Discovery Center opened the Stained Glass Studio, where Cindy shares her love of stained glass with others. It had always been Cindy's dream to have a studio for people to learn, create and enjoy. Her studies include: Colorado State University, stained glass study at local studios, Orono Community Education, and hands-on learning. "I always learn something new whenever I teach. It's fun to see how students interpret the techniques I teach. I'm truly happy to be able to see the beautiful art that happens, in so many different applications." Cindy has been sharing her passion for stained glass with students for many years.
