Ever wonder where to begin when planning your charcuterie board? What to buy, how to cut, prepare or arrange your items and how to make that cool salami rose? Learn all of the basics in techniques, food pairings and educational background on the foods used. Have fun with family and friends during class at a local venue, the Iron Exchange in Maple Plain. Due to table space, food is available for purchase before or after class. However, beverages are available at anytime. A link to pay the ingredients fee of $45 will be sent via email one week prior to class. Bring home a new experience, a helpful grocery list for future boards PLUS an artfully arranged 10” charcuterie board (serves 5-6 people) to enjoy right away! *Due to cost of high-quality ingredients, any cancellations or no shows after the three business day cancellation policy, will still be responsible to pay the supply fee of $45. You are welcome to pick up your supplies at the Iron Exchange (pickup within 24 hours) if interested in completing a charcuterie board on your own.
Laura is the owner of Fig and Ivy Charcuterie, located in Eden Prairie, MN which was born in October 2021 by Laura Norton.
Laura grew up watching her mother and grandmother’s love of cooking. They instilled in her their passion of bringing food, family, and friends together.
Laura started Fig and Ivy as a creative outlet. Design has been a hobby of Laura’s, but her dreams have involved turning it into a business venture. The idea for Fig and Ivy Charcuterie evolved after Laura created a large graze table for a party she hosted. Laura soon realized this was her way to combine all her passions- food, art, entertaining into one place.
Food has a way of bringing people together. Everyone gathers in the kitchen. No matter what life brings, everything's better with delicious cheese!
