    Learn 3D design and modeling skills using Tinkercad. Create a Deathly Hallows model and your own magical pendant. Students will be able to pick one design to be printed and mailed home.     ACT College Examination Preparatory Course

    Advantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in two different ways: the in-person ACT Preparatory Course or the online ACT Preparatory Course. Both courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills or who have taken the exam and aren’t satisfied with their results. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, math strategies and review. Please bring notebook paper, pencils, calculator and a small 3-ring binder or folder to class. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course.     ACT College Examination Preparatory Course - Live Virtual Class

    This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend an in-person class, but still prefers the interaction with an instructor. The live virtual ACT prep course is the same as the in-person ACT course, but from the comfort of your own home. Our instructors teach live via Zoom and are available to answer questions if needed. You will need an internet connection and a computer/tablet/smart phone. Instruction for all areas tested will be provided with focal points on diagnostic testing, science reasoning, math review and strategies, reading comprehension improvement, English strategies, writing essays, overcoming test anxiety and time management. Please have notebook paper, pencils and a calculator available for class. Students may repeat the course as often as they desire for no additional cost. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email and can begin preparing right away.     Day Camp at Skyrock

    Spend your day on the farm at Skyrock! Learn all about horses, how to groom and care for a horse, and common horse vocabulary. Enjoy a ride on a pony too! Take a guided nature hike of the entire farm, weather permitting. There will also be time to hang out in the clubhouse, play games, make new friends, and much more. Join us for a day of adventure on the farm! Bring a bag lunch, water, and a nut-free snack. Dress for the weather.

    Driver's Education

    This class fulfills the 30 hours of classroom driver’s training required by the State of Minnesota. Class will be taught in-person. After completing this course, students must sign up with a commercial driving school and receive an e-blue card, which they will need before taking their permit test. After passing the permit test, they must take 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction at a cost of approximately $398. Missed classes must be made up in another session.     By the time students start thinking about colleges during their junior year, it’s often too late to make changes that could be impactful for college applications. Therefore, it’s important for students and parents to think ahead about their curricular and extracurricular choices. After this presentation, parents of early high school students will understand how applications are read, how to direct their children on choices such as taking AP or standard college preparatory courses, dual enrollment, what activities can make your child stand out, and how to use summers to explore academic and extracurricular interests.

    Score a winning goal with our floor hockey classes. Coaches will teach the key concepts of passing, shooting, defense, stickhandling and speed in a recreational, non-competitive setting. Specifically designed for beginning and intermediate players, this program teaches athletes floor hockey skills along with lessons such as respect, teamwork, responsibility and safety (no checking). Equipment will be provided. Participants should wear athletic clothing and bring a water bottle.
