    Ever wonder where to begin when planning your charcuterie board? What to buy, how to cut, prepare or arrange your items and how to make that cool salami rose? Learn all of the basics in techniques, food pairings and educational background on the foods used. Have fun with family and friends during class at a local venue, the Iron Exchange in Maple Plain. Due to table space, food is available for purchase before or after class. However, beverages are available at anytime. A link to pay the ingredients fee of $45 will be sent via email one week prior to class. Bring home a new experience, a helpful grocery list for future boards PLUS an artfully arranged 10” charcuterie board (serves 5-6 people) to enjoy right away! *Due to cost of high-quality ingredients, any cancellations or no shows after the three business day cancellation policy, will still be responsible to pay the supply fee of $45. You are welcome to pick up your supplies at the Iron Exchange (pickup within 24 hours) if interested in completing a charcuterie board on your own.
  • Cheer on Summer!

    Open to boys and girls! This fun-filled cheer camp will be coached by the Planet Spirit Staff and will teach basic cheer technique, motions, jumps, dance and simple stunts. There will be a performance for family and friends at 11:45 AM on Thursday. No experience is necessary! All participants will receive a t-shirt.

    Skyhawks Cheerleading teaches the essential skills to lead crowds and support the home team! There is no stunting in this entry level program - just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns proper hand and body movements, cheers and jumping techniques. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and bring two snacks, a water bottle and sunscreen.

    The Clubhouse and Add-Ons program is an enrichment program designed to extend your Preschooler's day or provide an opportunity for your young ones to start getting exposed to a school setting! You choose the days that your child will regularly attend. Clubhouse Morning Clubhouse is a multi-aged classroom designed for children 18 months to 5 years. Our days are filled with Creative Curriculum studies and activities to enhance your child's social-emotional and academic development. Under 3: $30/day 3+ $25/day Afternoon Clubhouse is designed for children ages 3-5. Your child will enjoy spending the afternoon exploring the arts and physical fitness! Must be potty trained. $20/day Add-Ons Morning Movers is open to 3-5 year old Preschoolers- who need care Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 9:15 am during the Preschool calendar year. Preschoolers will have structured, supervised play time in the gym and then each child will be escorted to their Preschool classroom door to start the day. Must be potty trained. $10/day Lunch Bunch is a great way to extend your 3-5 year old's day. Lunch Bunch is available M-F and runs from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm. Pack a nut free lunch and your child will be brought to Lunch Bunch right from Preschool or Clubhouse.     College Essay Writing Workshop - Virtual

    The college application process is complex and many colleges ask students to write personal statements and supplemental essays. How do you write an effective essay? Virtual Session 1: College Connectors counselors will educate students about the purpose of the Common Application personal statement, evaluate and discuss effective essays, and guide students through exercises to create a draft of their personal statement. There will be pre-work for this session. Between session 1 and 2, students will be expected to complete a first draft of their personal statement to receive written feedback. Virtual Session 2: We will evaluate sample supplemental essays and discuss how to answer common supplemental questions that demonstrate to colleges there is a strong mission, academic, or cultural fit between the student and the college. Students will have an option to have an essay review meeting with a College Connectors counselor by August 9th. A Zoom link and pre-work will be sent to those registered one week prior to class.

    Enjoy a complimentary one-time day pass to the Orono Activities Center. Please pre-register online so your information is on file. A photo ID will be checked at the front desk. Students ages 14-17 must have an parent/guardian sign a consent form at the front desk upon arrival.

    We will start our day at Elm Creek Park and enjoy one of the biggest play areas in the state. After a picnic lunch at the park, we will head to Conquer Ninja to experience being a Ninja Warrior! Try the obstacles with coach guidance, explore through free time and then compete against your friends. Bring a bag lunch.
