  • Mankato Holiday Lights Tour

    Sibley Park Kiwanis Holiday Lights display in Mankato consists of over one million lights in the park. The displays are created by volunteers who bent, welded and molded materials into the form. There will also be a skating rink, live reindeer, along with animated and choreographed lights. We will stop before the light show for a meal at Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen. The bus will depart from Plymouth Community Center at 2:30 pm and will return around 8:30 pm. This trip will also be partnering with the city of Plymouth, New Hope, Crystal and Brooklyn Center. Registration deadline is November 7th. No refunds can be given after the deadline. Please call 952-449-8350 to inquire about registering after the deadline. Menu: A Classic Chicken Pot Pie with a Buttery Flaky Crust, Beverage, Mini Crème Brule. 5:30 p.m. Leave Number 4 American Kitchen. 5:45 p.m. Arrive at the Sibley Park Kiwanis Holiday Lights Display. The pathways are paved. There are over one million lights in the park. Older displays were created by volunteers who bended, welded, and molded metals into forms. They then attached color rope lights to the frame to create the display - some of them are over 15 feet high! Newer displays are significantly larger and often involve moving LED light bulbs. Santa’s Toy Factory is 29 feet high and nearly 40 feet wide. Other displays include the Candy Cane Cottage and the Elves snowball fight, flying Santa, and the 19-piece Nativity scene. There are concessions for sale in the warming house. Heated rest rooms are located near the entrance. There is a skating rink with a synthetic surface, live reindeer, animated and choreographed Lights. 7:00 p.m. Leave Mankato 8:30 p.m. Estimated return time to Plymouth.
  • Ozark Country Jubilee

    The Ozark Jubilee features an all-star cast of Branson’s top entertainers. The first half of the show salutes the music of great country legends. The second half of the show is a total variety of Christmas music, from traditional standards to contemporary selections. Enjoy this holiday musical event at the Treasure Island Event Center in Welch. Bluegrass, gospel, country and traditional Christmas are featured through vocals, instrumental and comedy. Lunch will be held in the ballroom before the start of the show. We will depart from the Plymouth Community Center at 9:30 am and return around 6:00 pm. From the traditional standards such as Silent Night and White Christmas to more contemporary Christmas selections that will touch your heart. This show features vocals, comedy and instrumentals. World-class fiddler, Doofus Doolittle presents his unique brand of humor and some of the best fiddle and violin music ever. Enjoy his stories about some of the legendary artists he has performedwith. He will salute comedians of yesteryears such as Archie Campbell, String Bean and Minnie Pearl.
