    In this hands-on class, you'll learn to make Bulgogi Kimbap, a Korean rice roll similar to sushi but with savory, cooked fillings. Instructor Tess will guide you through every step, from preparing the seasoned rice and colorful fillings to marinating and cooking the Bulgogi. You'll master the art of hand-rolling your own kimbap and discover the key differences between kimbap and sushi. Leave with the skills and confidence to create this healthy and delicious gourmet meal at home. Cooking along is optional, and you'll receive access to info, a shopping list, and class details in advance. After class, registered participants will get a packet with the instructor's personal recipes.

    Easter Egg Decorating - Caregiver & Child

    Join Chef Noah for a fun morning of hands-on Easter egg decorating! Participants will receive three hard-boiled eggs to customize with their own unique patterns using a wax-resist technique. Then personally choose your own dye color and dip each egg, allowing caregivers to leave the dyeing mess at the Iron Exchange this Easter season. After the decorating fun, stay and enjoy a delicious pizza bar and salad for both the child (ages 5 and up) and their accompanying adult, which is included in the registration fee! (Beverages will be available for purchase).

    Irish Dinner

    Make it a date night, or bring a friend! Get the scoop on Irish food plus historical notes on St. Patrick's Day, and then swing into an extensive menu of terrific Irish fare. Smoked Fish Pate as an appetizer, Beef Braised in Guinness plus Beer-Braised Pork Tenderloin for main dishes. From the humble potato comes the famous Colcannon (Mashed Potatoes with Cabbage) and a delicious Cabbage with Bacon. Who does not adore homemade Irish Soda Bread? Wrap up your meal with splendid Jam Cake. Supply fee of $16 due to instructor at class by cash or check.

    Let Them Eat Cake!

    Join us for an evening mixing, baking, and decorating your own charming 8-inch cake to take home and share with family, friends or co-workers. No prior decorating experience is required, and everything will be provided for you. You'll see that great results don't always need special tools. Nancy has all sorts of clever tricks up her sleeve to show just how easy and downright fu baking can be! A $20.00 supply fee is payable to the instructor in class.

    Have you always wanted to try making sourdough but felt overwhelmed? This fun, hands-on workshop takes the mystery out of the process and shows you how to bake amazing bread with a simple, real-life method. Mix your own dough, learn how to care for a starter, and go home with: one loaf of dough to bake the next day, your own starter, and clear, step-by-step instructions to keep baking at home. What to bring: Large mixing bowl Tea towel/kitchen towel Spatula or dough scraper Kitchen scale (if you have one) Note: For best results, sourdough is typically baked in a Dutch oven. The instructor will share alternative baking options during the workshop, but if you’ve been thinking about getting (or borrowing) one, now’s a great time! A minimum 4–5 qt size is ideal. Children ages 14 years or older may enroll with an enrolled adult.
