Minecraft Game Designer: DungeonsTurn Minecraft from a game into a visual learning tool! This class will reinforce problem solving skills and spatial cognition through learning to create in-game dungeons and treasure maps. Students will work in pairs and learn basic game design skills while they build adventure maps as well as some other advanced features in Minecraft. Please bring a beverage and a nut-aware snack.
Robotics & STEM - Aeronautic Discoveries!Machines that fly have always captured our imagination. Students will build a robotic airplane (does not fly), be challenged to build the longest flying plane, explore the beginning of flight by engineering a hot air balloon, design a sturdy, life-saving parachute and complete a surprise project.
