    Ever wonder where to begin when planning your charcuterie board? What to buy, how to cut, prepare or arrange your items and how to make that cool salami rose? Learn all of the basics in techniques, food pairings and educational background on the foods used. Have fun with family and friends during class at a local venue, the Iron Exchange in Maple Plain. Due to table space, food is available for purchase before or after class. However, beverages are available at anytime. A link to pay the ingredients fee of $45 will be sent via email one week prior to class. Bring home a new experience, a helpful grocery list for future boards PLUS an artfully arranged 10” charcuterie board (serves 5-6 people) to enjoy right away! *Due to cost of high-quality ingredients, any cancellations or no shows after the three business day cancellation policy, will still be responsible to pay the supply fee of $45.     Learn all of the essential cooking basics before heading to college or off on your own! Chef Noah will teach you how to prep, cook and store some simple and delicious meals. He will also talk about key ingredients and tools to store at your dorm/apartment/condo. Parents and caregivers, this is a GREAT opportunity for your soon-to-be, independent cook!

In this class, Laura, from Fig and Ivy Charcuterie will provide step-by-step guidance in the arrangement of fine cheeses, fruits, meats and additional accompaniments.   • Spring Roll Symphony! Crafting Crispy & Fresh Spring Roll Delights - Virtual Class

    No need to look beyond your own kitchen for restaurant quality spring rolls! Join Tess as she walks you through the process of creating two types of spring rolls bursting with a symphony of flavors bold and bright enough to wake up any and all taste buds. Your choice of meat (chicken or pork) and veggies will fill the crispy spring rolls and fresh veggies and precooked protein of choice will fill the fresh spring rolls. Participants will be able to customize filling ingredients and seasonings according to their taste or dietary preferences. We will learn the technique to create fillings, and how to wrap, roll and cook these delightful packets of bright deliciousness! Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. This class will take place on ZOOM and participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting. One registration fee includes immediate family members living in the same home. Adult supervision is required for children participating.
  • ​Festive Spring Salads

    Head into spring with a wild rice and chicken salad or wild rice with fresh mushrooms and cashews. We will also create a vegetarian main dish salad using multi-colored peppers and quinoa. What could be more refreshing than a salad combination of cantaloupe and strawberries with an orange sauce? Equally as pretty is a raspberry-spinach salad with glazed pecans. Then round out the evening with 3 easy dressings for your favorite combination of assorted garden greens - feta cheese, creamy blue cheese and orange dressing. You will be ready for family and friends and spring! Supply fee of $15 due to instructor at class.
