30 total hours of classroom driver's training required by the State of Minnesota.
Create a friendly bug or creature out of glass, lead, and wire. We will finish one or two free standing projects. All tools are provided. We will be using soldering irons. Children age 14 and older are welcome to register if attending with a registered adult. A $20 supply fee is payable to the instructor at class.
Cindy is the Stained Glass Instructor for Orono Community Education and Wayzata Community Education. In 2003 the Discovery Center opened the Stained Glass Studio, where Cindy shares her love of stained glass with others. It had always been Cindy's dream to have a studio for people to learn, create and enjoy. Her studies include: Colorado State University, stained glass study at local studios, Orono Community Education, and hands-on learning. "I always learn something new whenever I teach. It's fun to see how students interpret the techniques I teach. I'm truly happy to be able to see the beautiful art that happens, in so many different applications." Cindy has been sharing her passion for stained glass with students for many years.
