Orono Community Education

The Writing Club at OMS is a great opportunity to explore a variety of writing genres and engage in fun writing challenges. The fall session will focus on short story writing. We will begin by writing short stories, learning how to plan a story, write engaging hooks, and build towards exciting climactic moments. Students will need to bring their own device. Additional sessions focusing on newspaper writing and poetry writing will be available for registration in the Winter/Spring Community Education brochure.
