    Beginner Ladies Golf

    This program is structured for ladies who want to understand the overall mechanics of the golf swing. You will learn the full swing as well as the short game (chipping, pitching and putting). The main goal of this program is to have fun and be able to manage yourself around the golf course. Range balls are included and clubs are available if needed. There will be a chance to play on the course on the last night. Please dress for the weather. Registration Deadline: May 15th for the June session and June 19th for the July session. Weather Policy - In the event of severe weather, the class will be made up if possible.
  • Complimentary Orono Activities Center Day Pass

    Enjoy a complimentary one-time day pass to the Orono Activities Center. Please pre-register online so your information is on file. A photo ID will be checked at the front desk. Students ages 14-17 must have an parent/guardian sign a consent form at the front desk upon arrival.
  • Fitness Punch Card

    Purchase a Fitness Punch Card and drop into any adult fitness class on your time and your schedule. This is the perfect option if you cannot commit to a full class or want to try multiple different types of classes. Punch cards are valid for 6 months. Purchase another card if you run out of punches! Punch cards are kept in the Activities Center Fitness Room (30 & 31). The punch card is NOT VALID for pickleball classes, aquatics programs, virtual classes, private lessons or open gyms. Senior and Activities Center Membership discounts can not be applied toward a Punch Card purchase. Please contact our office at 952-449-8350 to confirm that a class has enough enrollments to run before dropping in for the first time.
  • Goat Yoga

    Be ready to laugh, relax, connect with the community and enjoy some friendly goats during this fun and unique yoga class! Class includes a 45 minute instructor-led gentle flow yoga session starting at 10 am. You will be joined by several goats, including adorable baby goats! After the yoga session, there will be photo opportunities and a chance to bottle feed the baby goats. Receive a free treat from a local cottage baker and a chance to shop the Rockin Porch Farms Collection of goat's milk soaps and lotions. Rockin Porch Farms Goat Yoga is located on a tennis court surrounded by beautiful trees, ponds and farm animals. Bring a friend or family member and try this one-of-a-kind yoga! A perfect mother's day weekend activity for the whole family!     Hatha Yoga

    Recharge, restore, and reconnect the mind and body. This class combines slow flow Vinyasa and Hatha style yoga, which focuses on the pairing of poses and breathing. Poses will be held longer and are designed to build physical strength and mental endurance, ideally finding harmony in the mind and body. This focused and calming, yet challenging class, can be modified for all levels.

    Intermediate Ladies Golf

    This series is structured for women who have completed the Beginner Ladies Series or feel their game is ready for the next level of instruction. Our vision in this series is to focus on correct fundamentals. Emphasis will be on grip, stance and posture and how it relates to overall ball striking. Full swing and short game (chipping, pitching and putting) will be covered. Range balls are included, clubs are available if needed.     Join us for, a dynamic fitness class designed to strengthen and energize every muscle group! This high-energy session combines cardio, strength training, core, and flexibility exercises. The instructor will guide you through a series of engaging routines that will challenge and keep you motivated! This class can accommodate all fitness levels.
  • Tai Chi

    Using your mind and body connection, tai chi practice creates internal strength through gentle, relaxing movements. You’ll increase balance, strengthen bones, and improve flexibility and coordination. Tai chi is a lifelong exercise with many positive benefits for participants living with or without arthritis. The form is easy to learn and suitable for all ages. Wear loose-fitting clothing for ease of movement and comfortable shoes.

    Total Body Boot Camp

    Join us for a challenging, outdoor workout this summer that focuses on improving your strength, endurance, speed and agility. We will do a variety of drills and exercises that can accomodate all fitness levels. You can choose to sign up for one or two days per week. Boost your energy levels and start your morning off right with Total Body Boot Camp! Bring your mat, towel and water bottle. If there is inclement weather, we will meet in the fitness studio.
