Cheer on Summer!
Open to boys and girls! This fun-filled cheer camp will be coached by the Planet Spirit Staff and will teach basic cheer technique, motions, jumps, dance and simple stunts. There will be a performance for family and friends at 11:45 AM on Thursday. No experience is necessary! All participants will receive a t-shirt. -
Cheerleading Camp
Skyhawks Cheerleading teaches the essential skills to lead crowds and support the home team! There is no stunting in this entry level program - just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns proper hand and body movements, cheers and jumping techniques. Participants should wear tennis shoes and bring two snacks, a water bottle and sunscreen. -

HoopsterTots
This basketball camp focuses on dribbling, shot technique, passing, and teamwork. Adjustable hoops and appropriately sized basketballs are used to provide the right amount of challenge. Parent/caregiver participation is recommended for this camp. -
Junior Golf School
Open to all levels. Learn the full swing and the short game (chipping, pitching and putting). Range balls included. Clubs are available if needed. In the event of severe weather, the lesson will be made up if possible. Registration deadline for the June session is May 19th and the July session is June 16th. -
Junior Summer Golf Program
Join us for golf instruction each day including: rules, etiquette, putting, chipping and more. There will also be golf course play each week and tournament at the end of the session. Depending on age and ability, golfers will play 3 to 9 holes. The end time each day will be based on length of play. Players should provide their own clubs (limited sets available upon request). -
Kids on Bikes
Join us for the ultimate summer activity - riding a bike! We will participate in on-bike games, explore local trails, and so much more! The focus of this camp is the joy of biking. Students will need their own bike in good working order, a proper fitting bicycle helmet, and an excitement to hit the trails. Let's Ride! -
Lacrosse
This camp is designed for beginner and intermediate players who are eager to learn the fundamentals of this fast-paced and exciting sport. Learn the basics of: cradling, shooting, passing, catching, and defending. In addition to teaching the sports skills, we also teach the vital life skills of teamwork, sportsmanship, respect and leadership. Whether your child dreams of becoming the next lacrosse star or is just looking to try something new, this is a great place to start. All equipment is provided. -
Log Rolling 101
Embark on an exciting journey to improve your balance and coordination while learning the sport of log rolling! Work through a series of engaging activities and games aimed at developing essential balance skills. From mastering the basics of footwork and posture to navigating more challenging maneuvers, such as spins and directional changes, you will gain confidence and proficiency on the rolling logs. Learn valuable techniques for staying safe while enjoying this unique water sport. Students should be able to swim 25 yards independently and tread water for 30 seconds (typically Red Cross Swimming Level 4 or higher). Students will be assessed for water safety and comfort on the first day. -

Orono 4 on 4 Volleyball League - Grade 6
A fun, competitive learning environment for all players. This is a “non-coached” league. Teams play at least one match each night and an end-of-league tournament. Teams can have more than 4 players, but only 4 players can be on the court at one time. If you have multiple grade level players on your team, you must register for the grade of your oldest player. Orono Volleyball staff and players will referee. We welcome athletes from other schools to form a team and join this league! $75 per player (includes a t-shirt) Mon., Apr. 21 - May 19 Orono Middle School Gym Schedules emailed the week of Apr. 14h.
