  • Beginner Stained Glass Window

    Create a beautiful stained glass window approximately 8” x 10” in size. This class is for both beginner and experienced stained glass participants! The copper foil technique will be taught from cutting to assembly. The first night, you'll choose a pattern and discuss colors of glass, equipment, and layout. The other sessions will focus on assembling your stained glass window. Glass and materials are purchased directly from the instructor at class - approximately $65. Tool kits are provided. Please bring safety glasses to use while cutting and grinding glass. This class includes one free Saturday morning Open Studio visit. Call to register participants ages 14-17 (must attend with an enrolled adult).

  • Bulgogi Kimbap: Korean Signature Rice Rolls - Virtual Class

    In this hands-on class, you'll learn to make Bulgogi Kimbap, a Korean rice roll similar to sushi but with savory, cooked fillings. Instructor Tess will guide you through every step, from preparing the seasoned rice and colorful fillings to marinating and cooking the Bulgogi. You'll master the art of hand-rolling your own kimbap and discover the key differences between kimbap and sushi. Leave with the skills and confidence to create this healthy and delicious gourmet meal at home. Cooking along is optional, and you'll receive access to info, a shopping list, and class details in advance. After class, registered participants will get a packet with the instructor's personal recipes.

    CPR, First Aid & AED

    This blended learning (online learning and in-person skills) session will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. Successful participants will receive a two-year Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric (infant and child) CPR, First Aid and AED. Register at least 10 days prior to the in-person skills date, as time is needed to complete the online learning portion PRIOR to testing in person for the skills. This will allow you the time to complete lessons at your own pace. You will need to provide the instructor with proof of online completion in order to take part in the skills testing. Additional details regarding online learning session will be sent via email. A personal email address is required to receive class content.   • Fitness Punch Card

    Purchase a Fitness Punch Card and drop into any adult fitness class on your time and your schedule. This is the perfect option if you cannot commit to a full class or want to try multiple different types of classes. Punch cards are valid for 6 months. Purchase another card if you run out of punches! Punch cards are kept in the Activities Center Fitness Room (30 & 31). The punch card is NOT VALID for pickleball classes, aquatics programs, virtual classes, private lessons or open gyms. Senior and Activities Center Membership discounts can not be applied toward a Punch Card purchase.   • Fused Glass Garden Art

    Add a flash of color to your pots, planters, flowerbeds or garden! In this class, you will create a fused glass totem and stake. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor at the start of class. Additional items can be made during class for an extra material fee payable at class. Due to the fusing cycle, you will need to return to the studio on any Wednesday after May 20th between 7 - 8:30pm.

    Fused Glass Open Studio

    Fused Glass Open Studio provides time and space to create fused glass projects for beginner and advanced participants. A facilitator will be on hand for advice and support. A $25 material fee will be collected at the studio for each new punch card. Participants are asked to bring their own glass (COE90-preferred), cutting tools and molds (sharing of materials is also an option). It is recommended that participants have taken at least one fused glass class before joining Open Studio. Punch cards have 8 punches and are valid for 12 months.

    Create a unique and vibrant Garden Goddess plant stake to adorn your plants or garden in this exciting fused glass class! You'll personalize a pre-cut female glass form by decorating it with a beautiful array of colorful glass accessories like stringers, noodles, frit balls, and scrap glass. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor at the start of class. Due to the necessary kiln-firing process, your finished piece will be ready for pick-up on any Wednesday after April 29th between 7 - 8:30 PM. When you return to the studio, you'll complete your goddess by stringing decorative beads onto the copper "hair" wires, as the beads cannot be fired in the kiln.
  • Glass Mosaic Bird Bath

    Join us this spring to make a one-of-a-kind bird bath. In this class, you will decorate a terra-cotta drip tray with pieces of stained glass. The bird bath can be placed on the ground or on a wrought-iron stand (not included). Grouting will take place on the second day of class, and if weather permits, students will grout outdoors. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor at the start of class. Register for the Glass Mosaic Terracotta Pot class on April 13 & 14 to create a matching stand for your bird bath!

    Add a personal touch to your pots this spring! With guided instruction, you will design, cut, glue, and grout your own unique mosaic pattern onto your pot. Choose from two different size pots for this project. All tools and materials are available at our glass studio. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor at the start of class. Call to register participants ages 14-17 (must attend with an enrolled adult). Register for the Glass Mosaic Bird Bath class on April 27 & 30 to combine your projects into an elevated bird bath!
  • Goat Yoga

    Be ready to laugh, relax, connect with the community and enjoy some friendly goats during this fun and unique yoga class! Class includes a 45 minute instructor-led gentle flow yoga session starting at 10 am. You will be joined by several goats, including adorable baby goats! After the yoga session, there will be photo opportunities and a chance to bottle feed the baby goats. Receive a free treat from a local cottage baker and a chance to shop the Rockin Porch Farms Collection of goat's milk soaps and lotions.     Learn the basic foundational techniques used in the art of tying a fly. Personal, detailed instruction from a master fly tyer will be given, including the how and why concerning: tools, materials, hook selection, and what flies represent to the fish. You will tie a minimum of three flies that will help you catch fish!
  • Intro to Trout Fishing - Live on the Stream

    This 5-hour, in-person class is your fast track to becoming a confident fly angler. Join Master Guide, Scott in western Wisconsin as you learn the essentials of fly fishing. The first hour will cover: gear, rigging, knots, and the best flies for our local waters. Then, you'll hit the dry ground for a focused fly casting lesson. Finally, you'll suit up in waders and boots to fish for wild trout on one of Western Wisconsin's rivers, the Kinnickinnic or the Rush. All necessary fishing gear (rods, reels, flies, waders, boots, etc.) is provided. Participants are required to bring a one-day, Wisconsin fishing license with an inland trout stamp. The instructor will share the specific class location the week of class for optimal fishing conditions. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind class opportunity!
